Winona has a rich and interesting history. Since this will be "home" for the years you are at Winona State, you are urged to investigate the history of the area and of the university using a wide range of library resources. But you may find these old photographs interesting as you compare the timeless bluffs of the Mississippi with the ever-changing face of the community itself. A brief explanation of each photo is given at the bottom.
